Day 01. Tuesday, 7 August 2012 : Saigon arrival                                                                       
You will book by yourselves the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and the airport pickup service.


Day 02. Wednesday, 8 August 2012 : Saigon - Flight to Hanoi (B/-/-/)
Arrive to Hanoi in the afternoon. Our guide and driver will welcome you at the Noi Bai Airport and then be transferred to your hotel in the center of city. Enjoy the evening with a performance of a famous Vietnamese Water Puppet Show, a favorite experience for all visitors to Vietnam. Overnight in hotel.


Day 03. Thursday, 9 August 2012 : Hanoi – Ha Long (B/L/D)
Breakfast. Welcome by our guide and transfer to Ha Long Bay (180km), one of the most spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the world’s largest marine limestone "karst" landscape. Arrival at 12.30 and embark on Victory Star Cruise with a welcome drink. The wooden Junk cruising through Ha Long Bay while you have a fresh sea food lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit Surprise Cave or you'll be able to swim & climb on the top of Titov beach. Dinner and spend a romantic night on the charming Boat.


Day 04. Friday, 10 August 2012 : Ha Long – Hanoi - Night train to Lao Cai (Brunch/-/)
Wake up for a fresh coffee and a wholesome breakfast before we cruising to see another part of the bay on the way back to Halong City. Check out and disembark. Come back to Hanoi in the afternoon. Short visit to Temple of Literature - the first university of Vietnam, established 11th century. In the evening, transfer to Hanoi Station for departure to Lao Cai. Overnight in air-conditioned wagon (PRIVATE cabin – 3 pax/cabin).


Day 05. Saturday, 11 August 2012 : Lao Cai - Sapa – Visit ethnic villages (B/L/-/)
Train arrives at Lao Cai Railway Station at 06.00 a.m and transfer to Sapa. Travel time approx 1hr. Have breakfast at local restaurant before the trip starts (Please note: Check-in time starts at 14.00). Transfer 6 km by jeep then walk on 2 km down to Lao Chai village, and close Ta Van village of the Dzay minority. Here you can enjoy the beautiful and interesting scenery of these villages. This is your chance to visit the H'mong people living in their wooden and bamboo houses. Then Jeep transfer back to Sapa town. Have lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon our guide will take you to Cat Cat village, a village of the Black H’mong, visit the French existing hidro - electric power station beside the Cat Cat waterfall. Go back to Sapa then you are free to walk around Sapa town in the evening. Overnight in hotel.


Day 06. Sunday, 12 August 2012 : Bac Ha Market (Sunday market) – Lao Cai (B/-/-/)
At 7h30 a.m check out the hotel then transfer to the colourful Sunday Market, Bac Ha (100km - 3h on route) where you can meet all the minorities groups: Flower H'mong, Tay, Thai, Dzao, Xa Pho… This is amazing market is also well known for its various handicraft. After lunch at your own, we will visit the H’mong King’s house (King Hoang A Tuong) built by the French colonists and the Chinese in 1920 and Ban Pho village. Say goodbye to Bac Ha and get back to Trung Do, a Tay Village impressively nested by the side of the Chay River with hundred of spacious wooden houses which are well organized in the harmony with surrounding nature. Also from here you will enjoy a boat trip along the Chay River for magnificent landscapes of this untouched region. Getting to Lao Cai Station in late afternoon, you will enjoy dinner on your own in local restaurant before boarding the night train for Hanoi. Overnight in air-conditioned wagon (PRIVATE cabin – 3 pax/cabin).


Day 07. Monday, 13 August 2012 : Hanoi - Flight to Hue (B/-/-/)              
Arrival in Hanoi in the early morning, about 5h30. Transfer to Hanoi Emotion hotel for breakfast and take a shower. Free time until transfer to the Hanoi Airport to take flight to Hue. Upon arrival at Phu Bai airport - Hue, greeted by our guide then transfer to centre of Hue - the last Royal city of Vietnam, a World Cultural Heritage site since 1993. Visit the Imperial Citadel, from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945 including Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and Forbidden Purple City. Overnight in hotel.


Day 08. Tuesday, 14 August 2012 : Hue - Thuy Bieu village (B/L/-/)
In the morning, at 8 a.m: Picking up client from the hotel and transfering to visit the Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc. Then taking a boat to visit the typical Thien Mu Pagoda, built in 1610 and it becomes the symbol of Hue romantic city. Continuing the cruise to Thuy Bieu village and have lunch. In the afternoon: biking tour around the Thuy Bieu village, an authentical village representing countryside of Hue “garden-home” style. The clients have opportunities to visit homemade incence production household and gardenning activities of villagers. Relaxing by steeping your foot in with medicinal herbs water, a traditional therapeutical practice. Transfering back to hotel. Overnight in the hotel.


Day 09. Wednesday, 15 August 2012 : Hue - Hoi An (B/-/-/)
Breakfast and check out Hotel. Pick up at hotel and drive to Hoi An Ancient Town, stop over on Hai Van Pass overlooking Lang Co lagoon. Visit the Cham Museum and the Marble Mountain where you can visit Thuy Son also Tam Thai pagoda and Huyen Khong cave. Check in hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.


Day 10. Thursday, 16 August 2012 : Hoi An - My Son - Hoi An, city tour (B/L/-/)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to visit My Son where was formerly the centre of the Cham Kingdom. There are more than 70 constructions made of bricks and stone built between 7th & 13th century in accordance with different architecture styles. My Son has been compared with other famous sites of South East Asia such as Angkor, Borobudur, Vatphu, and Pagan. Transfer back to Hoi An, a small town in Central Vietnam famous for its wooden houses, family chapels, Assembly Halls and for its silk shops. Lunch at local restaurant. Go around tiny town of Hoi An for city tour: 400 years old Japanese Bridge, 300 years old Chinese temple, 200 years old Vietnamese former merchants' house… and the colourful market. Overnight in Hoi An.


Day 11. Friday, 17 August 2012 : Da Nang - Flight to Nha Trang (B/-/-/)                 
Breakfast. Transfer to Da Nang airport to take flight to Nha Trang. Arrive Nha Trang, check in hotel and leisure (NO GUIDE). Overnight in Nha Trang.


Day 12. Saturday, 18 August 2012 : Nha Trang - Islands and Snorkeling Tour (B/L/-/)
Tri Nguyen Aquarium - Tranh Beach - Mun Marine Park - Fishing Village - Con Se Tre Village
Start from your hotel to Cau Da port. Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island is the first place to visit, many sea species of Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa province) make a small ocean world there. Mun Island is the best island for snorkeling where you can see lots of lives colorful corals and fish. You will also be able to see caves in which the sea swallows make their nest. Then relaxing, swimming & doing water sports or other activities at Mot Island, Tranh Beach Island or on a small island calling “Mini beach”. Taking a fresh lunch at the island. On the way back you will visit a fishing village before going to the shore.
Timing : Full day. 8.30 am – 4.00 pm.
Including:  transport by car, local guide, private boat cruise (by wooden boat), admission fees,
   Vietnamese seafood lunch, Snorkeling gear, Sundeck-chairs & mineral waters, cold towels.

Day 13. Sunday, 19 August 2012 : Nha Trang (NO GUIDE & CAR) (B/-/-/)
Breakfast. Free time for swimming on the beach. Overnight at hotel.


Day 14. Monday, 20 August 2012 : Nha Trang - Flight to Saigon (B/-/-/) 

Breakfast. Free at leisure until transfer to airport (NO GUIDE) for flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Upon arrival you will be pick up and transfer to our hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.


Day 15. Tuesday, 21 August 2012 : Saigon - Cu Chi Tunnels - Saigon (B/-/-/)

Our guide will pick you up from hotel, transfer to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. At its height the tunnel system stretched over 250km from Saigon to the Cambodian border and was three levels deep. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life in the American war must have been like. For those interested there's even the opportunity to fire off rounds from an AK47 or MK16 at the nearby rifle range. We then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Saigon.


Day 16. Wednesday, 22 August 2012 : Saigon - Cai Be - Mekong Lodge (B/L/D)
The morning pick up from your hotel in Saigon, transfer to Cai Be. Greeting at Cai Be harbor and boat trip of half hour to Mekong Lodge. Check-in bungalows. Lunch is served in the nice restaurant with the special day-menu. Afternoon walking visit to the homes factories of Candy and handicraft near by the village. Late afternoon participating in demonstration dinner. Riverside Bar is opened until mid-night. Overnight at Mekong Lodge.


Day 17. Thursday, 23 August 201 : Cai Be - Saigon (B/L/-/)
Buffet breakfast in the restaurant. Walking or cycling tour around the island. Go to one of the orchard, free fruits picking of mango, rambutan, longan… Boat transfer to Cai Be harbor and catch your private car again to Ho Chi Minh. Half day Ho Chi Minh sightseeing to visit Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post office, and Binh Tay Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.


Day 18. Friday, 24 August 2012 : Saigon - Departure  (B/-/-/)
Free time to explore on your own the Ben Thanh Market, and shopping or at leisure before check out. Transfer to the airport for departure. Please note that hotel check out time is 12 p.m.
