Hi Paquita,

Thank you for your email and thank you for the great experience you have given us in Vietnam.

Your services were really good, the cruise is Halong Bay was really nice and we are really happy that we decided to take the 2-days cruise because the excursion to Cat Ba was really something to do. The only comment here is that it would have been nice to have chosen a cruise line that was catering more towards young people – we ended up with mostly 50+ years old couples. Not a big deal but I believe it would be good to target the service to the customers.

In Sapa everything was great. The guide was really nice and spoke good English (as opposed to the guides in Halong Bay who were really hard to understand). The home stay was extremely nice: by the river and great meals. The only comment here would be about the train: on the way to Sapa there was a bit of miscommunication between the agencies or the guide and the agency and the guide was told that we would arrive at 6.30, we arrived at 5.30 instead. Not the guides fault, he showed us the paper they gave him and in fact it was written 6.30, he was readily available to fix the program and helped us out while we waited for the driver to arrive - so not a bit deal at all, but you asked me to be detailed :) Lastly, on the way back we should have chosen the later train instead of the one at 19.30 – we found out that there was a train also at 21.00, that would have been better because it would have arrived more towards early morning. Our 19.30 train arrived at 4.30, in the middle of the night and it was a long 2 or 3 hours before anything was open or the hotel could let us in to shower.

Overall I think we were really satisfied and really enjoyed your services, the points above are only small details but, again, you asked me to give you useful comments.

Thank you again for the great services and be sure we will recommend you to any of our friends coming to visit Vietnam (just like our friend recommended you to us).

Kind regards,

Federico Ricci
